BECOME A MEMBER OF THE ASSOCIATION
As a member of The VALE Association, you support our cause — and you get a voice in where we're headed. You'll be invited to the yearly General Assembly with voting rights on board elections, bylaw changes, and financial oversight.

Although encouraged, there are no expectations to be active and show up to every General Assembly.
Becoming a member is most of all a way of saying:
"I think what you're doing matters – count me in."
HOW TO BECOME A MEMBER

Step 1 (first-time members only): Fill in the Membership Application Form

Step 2: Pay the yearly membership fee
The yearly fee is €10 or SEK 100 – you select the currency that suits you best.
The fee is the final confirmation on your part to opt in for an Association Membership. We will confirm your membership a few business days after receiving your transfer. In the field for text to recipient when transferring from a bank account, please add
"[First name + Last name] VALE membership [year]", e.g. "Jean Deluc VALE membership 2026".

Why do we have a yearly membership fee?
The fee is a small, but meaningful contribution to the operations of The VALE. It helps us cover a minor part of the costs of platforms and infrastructure to support our community and participants as much as possible. It is currently a small fee, and we rely primarily on our incredible funders and The VALE Team's efforts of fundraising through international funds and partnerships to make our projects come to life.
When do I need to pay the fee? The fee is annual and covers your membership within a given calendar year. You will be reminded to renew your membership by paying you annual fee at the beginning of each calendar year. The fee must be paid in order to vote at The General Assembly which takes place in the first quarter of each calendar year.

Can I pay by Revolut? Members may transfer their membership payment directly through an authorised VALE Association Team member (e.g. using Revolut) upon prior arrangement.
