OUR PROJECTS
THE COURSE 2026
In early 2026, The VALE is bringing back our now well-established flagship leadership course for young non-profit leaders. Developed since 2021, we have taken the best of our courses over the years, and we are excited to bring our ambitions to new heights and inspire a new generation of young leaders to make a change in the world.

THE SYMPOSIUM 2024
The third annual The VALE Leadership Symposium took place in late 2024 in a virtual format with speakers such as Alexandra Ganzon on leading with empathy and Danila Blanco Travnicek on the balance of technical knowledge and soft skills as well as engaging workshops for all participants.
THE COURSE 2023
Upon reviewing the notable impact and inspiring development of our VALE alumni, The VALE Team launched a new edition of The VALE Course in the autumn of 2023. Participants from all corners of the globe gathered in Norway and Estonia to take a dive into leading with values and how to drive social impact youth development.
THE SYMPOSIUM 2023
In October 2023, we combined our leadership course with a new edition of our annual Symposium, connecting Norwegian volunteer youth workers and our international community to foster new ideas and collaborations. This networking and idea creation event was created in partnership with global Shapers Oslo, and it set a new milestone for future symposia.
THE SYMPOSIUM 2022
To continue the ripples of The VALE Course 2021, we brought our alumni together for our first edition of The VALE Leadership Symposium in 2022. During this virtual event, participants shared key take-aways and practical leadership learnings from the 2021 Course and how they had brought new skills and life into their local communities and organisations. The symposium was organised by our course alumni in cooperation with The VALE Team.
THE COURSE 2021
The VALE Course 2021 brought together young leaders from across Europe. This first edition of our leadership development programme equipped participants with skills, knowledge, and values to lead with purpose and drive meaningful change in their communities. Our alumni have launched projects such as community development programmes, education initiatives, and social enterprises that continue to make a lasting impact.
